La Mama Logistics

A website and enquiry platform for a new South African truck hire, delivery and mining transport company: quote forms tailored to each service, a reference number for every enquiry, and an admin that runs enquiries, trucks and company documents.

La Mama Logistics website, as it appears live

La Mama Logistics was starting out as a new South African transport company with its own trucks, offering truck hire, short and long-distance deliveries, and contract haulage for mining operations. It needed a presence a mine's procurement team would take seriously, and enquiries that arrive with the details needed to quote, rather than a phone call followed by a string of questions. Many details, from truck specifications to compliance documents, were still being confirmed, so the site had to go live without inventing any of them and fill in as they arrived.

We built the website and the business tool behind it as one application. Each service got its own page setting out exactly what the company needs before it can quote, and the quote form asks for those details and nothing else, changing its questions for truck hire, deliveries and mining contracts.

Everything the team would need to change, from contact details and the logo to trucks and compliance documents, is edited in the admin rather than in code, so the site grows with the business without a developer.

A clean, fast public site with pages for each service, the fleet, mining contracts and the company, plus Privacy Policy, PAIA Manual and Terms pages and a consent step on every form. Every enquiry gets a reference number on screen and lands in the admin, where the team can assign it, change its status, add notes and see its full history. The admin also manages the trucks, with flexible specifications, photographs and a switch to show or hide each one, and the company's documents, which appear on the site only once they have been verified. Access is protected by roles with per-role module switches, two-factor sign-in and an audit log of every change.

How an enquiry becomes a quote

  1. Choose the service. Truck hire, a delivery or a mining contract, each with its own questions.
  2. Get a reference. The visitor sees a reference number as soon as the enquiry is sent.
  3. Review. The enquiry lands in the admin with every detail in one place.
  4. Follow up. The team assigns it, tracks its status and keeps notes on it.
  5. Quote. The customer receives a quote, or for a mining contract a written proposal.

A closer look

The website is live at lamamalogistics.co.za, designed, built and delivered in October 2026. Truck specifications, photographs and compliance documents are added through the admin as the company confirms them, so the site grows with the business instead of waiting for a redesign.
